How do I know what is happening with my money?

Our aim is to provide rapid and direct support to local people affected by war in order to ensure their survival. Our approach is simple, efficient and effective. Human Front Aid is headed up by Bänz Margot. He has been supporting people out of personal solidarity and commitment since the beginning of the war and decides at short notice where help is most urgently needed. We do not generate any profit from the donations.

What are IDPs?

Internally displaced persons are people who are forced to leave their homes due to conflict, natural disasters or other emergencies, but remain within the borders of their own country. They seek protection in less vulnerable regions of their home country and often face special challenges as they do not have international refugee status and receive too little or no state aid.

Who is Bänz Margot?

In the early morning of February 24, 2022, Bänz Margot from Bern was woken up by explosions in Odessa. The Russian invasion of Ukraine had begun. Despite his fear, Bänz decided to stay in the region and help the people affected by the war. He took part in evacuations and food transports to cut-off villages. Within a short space of time, a strong network was formed that provided direct aid on various fronts.
